Solu-Medrol

Surgery Centers, Clinics and Physicians administer Solu-Medrol (methylprednisolone sodium succinate); also known as A-methylpred, to treat various types of inflammation. When a patient's symptoms, such as those caused by COPD or painful swelling, necessitate a corticosteroid that offers rapid relief, Solu-medrol solution is often preferred. This injectable is also considered to be short acting for use in acute disease states and medical emergencies. This preservative free and particulate free reconstituted steroid can be administered either IM or IV.
